People like this should never be on the net again...by law.

I told my friends on my page....Look there are bad people out there....Don't let them panic you.

Checking the history of your car....Might pay off.

Slide 1 of 4: historical newspaper clipping

This man found out his car belonged to almost royal lady.

Dog friendly car show?

I can tell you why that is hard.   I took my dog to work at the dealership once.   I thought he needed a little something new.   So did I.    First thing he did?   Ran around the showroom lighting up the tires!    Yup that did not work.   Not after I had to clean that.

Dude my age is helping the young get a chance to own a hotrod.

Young guys still want that old car.    they just can't find enough cash to do it.    Dude who owns this ride is looking for a special kid to own it....for free.    I hope a girl gets it.    Girls like building cars too.

Yes this virus thing has made the front showroom a bit empty.

It will be some time before people come out .    I guess I can not blame them.   Safe is good.

So we have a truck load of the Grand Cherokees.

Image result for grand cherokee chrome bug deflector

Plus a bunch of Grand Caravans.    I guess this is the last bunch of the mini vans to come off the  line.    I think they will change their minds.   But for now the plan is to sell the last ones and move on.    The Pacifica replaces them.   Pacifica is a nice family car.    It is hard to see the mini vans we all know and love kind of go away.   Like Dinos.

This has became a used car problem.

Some not  so bad....Others are rough.   Paint bubble on the edge of the hoods.    No real rust.   Just for some reason the clear coat started going away.

There is a way to make it go away without big body shop bills.    A hood cover works too.

The every day stuff that keeps the place open even in an ordeal.

The guys asked me to come up with shop vac filters.   Okay does that seem easy?   Try it.   Go to a chain store and see what is there.   Not what you need.    Go online.   Which one is it?   I have this dude who drives a tool truck on speed dial.   He got me three in no time.

Hey over the years I remember guys like this selling cars.

Thank God the net changed it.    People are not so easy to take ….nor should they be.

O for the old days.

We just had an old Dakota with the V8 get traded in.    It is not in the great shape as the one in the link.    It is kind of rough.    But it still moves.    That is the sad part.   The motor is still strong.   The rest of it...kind of got eaten up by time.

Go to your local dealership and buy an OEM air filter.   The one that was made for the car.    Change it in the Spring.    change it in the Fall.    Done.   Nothing more needed.

Hot-rodders represent a key part of American spirit at large arcing all the way back to the 1930s. Sadly, the first generations of these enthusiasts are quietly passing on--like Navy veteran Ron Harrison of Tacoma, Washington, who died last month and left behind a beautiful 1927 Ford Model A that he owned for decades. Adding to his family's pain, the treasured hot rod was then stolen a few days following his death. Now they need your help to find it.

Harrison's brother told Q13 Fox that his family returned to his garage on East 46th Street on February 23 just five days after Ron had passed away at the age of 75 and discovered the the door open and the Model A missing. More than a week and a half later, there's been no sign of it, and no publicly-available leads in the investigation.

"This is a car my brother Ron had for 50 years. It's a '27 Ford Model A Coupe, completely restored with a nice hot rod engine and he got lots of awards for, trophies. There's probably 15 trophies in the garage right now that he had sort of set aside so any way to get it back would be great because everybody in the family loved it," Phil Harrison said to the news station.

Photos from a 1990 newspaper feature show the modified Blue Oval sporting flames down the side, though it was later painted all black by Harrison. Lovingly nicknamed "Windy," the Ford campaigned throughout the Pacific Northwest at car shows and local events taking home a collection of trophies. Unfortunately, so far there's a dearth of detailed photos to share.

The Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force is leading the charge in finding Harrison's Model A and notes that its most distinguishable features include a supercharger on top of the V-8 with twin stacks. There's also plenty of chrome hardware to help it stand out. There's no word on if the car was driven away or loaded onto a trailer when the thieves made off with it some two weeks ago.
If you've got a lead as to where the Model A might be, you can send a tip to the auto theft task force via Facebook Messenger or autothefttips@wsp.wa.gov. Anyone with any information can also contact Crime Stoppers of Tacoma Pierce County at P3Tips.com. There's a chance it could be listed for sale somewhere online, too, so scoping Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace in the greater Pacific Northwest would be a good place to start.
Then again, it's also possible that the thieves are in the process of stripping it, considering the difficulty of offloading such an easily identifiable vehicle and the number of pristine, expensive parts on a build like this. That would be the ultimate tragedy--but finding ads for those parts on hot rod forums, eBay, and other online marketplaces could also lead police to the culprits.

They may even make this.

Goodyear tires that grow the tread back.

The Goodyear reCharge concept debuted Tuesday, and this crazy futuristic tire envisions a radical new way to "replace" your rubber. Rather than swapping the physical tire for a new one, the tire manufacture is pondering something else -- what if you simply regenerate new tread.

Well it might be cool for awhile.   Till tire sales go flat.

Now someone wants to make it a place to go and visit.   Sure nothing to do with our dealership.   I just find it kind of a cool place.

This is what Friday looked like around this county.

Now we are facing 40 plus days with rain most of the week.    I am glad I got my Flu shot.   This will spread it like butter on toast.
