Old dog learned something a day ago.

We received a radio display from the exchange dept.   It was a different number and yet still the same unit.   We put it in.   It worked ,  sort of.   It lacked many things the one that was in it had.   Double heat controls,   seat controls,   and more.   I called and told them it had issues.  They said we had issues.  It was the correct unit.  Yes a sub for it.   But still correct.   I went back and forth days on end.   So I called another local dealer and asked them if they ever had the issues.    Hey they did!    It was a program problem!     The units are the same units.   Just the new one did not have all the same info.    Chrysler has a WIFI set up where you can go get all the customer's info and put it into the new unit.   BINGO!    It is working.

We  had that here one year.   The swamp out back got really high and the snakes came up to stay dry.  But ours were not dangerous.

I would question it.   We  had some near here before.   On the golf courses.   DEC  said they don't live here.   I bet they said it to this person too.

I know that is weird .    Yet they did.    I got so darn hungry.

I remember as a kid dreaming about getting the old cars back on the road.

I wanted to buy an old truck with a Vette engine in it.    Vette rear axle too.   My Dad said to wait.   I should have bought it anyway.     Few weeks later it sold.    I was really mad when I saw it driving fast down the road.    It was a cool ride that just needed some love.

Remember when a radio worked for ever in your car or truck?

Maybe not this old?    But I grew up around a junk yard full of cars and trucks.   You felt bored.   You found a car that still had a battery in it,    hooked it up,   and played the radio.   It almost always played.   Heck a car could sit for years and the radio still worked.   Today's cars and trucks just seem to lack the same great assurance.    Radios stop playing the first year you won them.    Or have some issues.    I remember the cheap 80's radios out of Kmart being tougher than today's ...well junk.
