Think about hitting 300 miles per hour in a car....WOW!

Factory test driver Andy Wallace piloted a slightly modified Bugatti Chiron to an official 304.773 mph at the Ehra-Lessien test track in Germany.

You better be a real driver!

This guy really loved the car...to save a wreck like that.

a truck is parked in front of a car: The Supra that becomes a 580whp monster.

Toyota Supras are expensive. Like, really expensive. But if you’re willing to forego unnecessary luxuries like front body panels and a running engine, there are lots of cheap ones. With a bit of elbow grease, you can turn one of these shells into a fully running, tire-burning MKIV Supra.

There is a really cool video on the link.    He made the car into a show piece.

The trucks in Johnny Van Zant's garage all have an emotional tie to loved ones who've passed. That includes two trucks that belonged to his brother Ronnie, the original singer for Lynyrd Skynyrd. Van Zant has sung in honor of him since 1987 in what may be considered the quintessential Southern rock band.

Ten points if you know where the band name came from....

O yes...That's Where I Stored My Car.

The vehicle had been reported missing to the owner’s insurance company on August 29, 2005. That was the day that the worst of the storm hit the city, suggesting that the car was carried off by floodwaters. It was discovered underground, but it was only 250 feet from an open-air section of the canal.

Back to the Future times ten....

Slide 1 of 2: Dozens Of DeLoreans Hiding From Hurricane Dorian In Storage

When it comes to a devastating storm like Hurricane Dorian, the protection of vehicles is only a secondary concern to the protection of people, pets and property and the safety of first responders. If you're in the care of classic cars belonging to other people, though, you must do what you can to protect them. That's the situation DeLorean Motor Company of Florida finds itself in with as Orlando is already feeling the effects of the storm's outer bands.

We got this week in the bag.

Image result for short week

I keep saying...In the mourning it's Hump Day!    It works for me.

So you order and end out with much more than needed.

Some of the new cars have a stop and go car start system.   They need a rather little battery to make this work.    Seems like a need for them is getting real.   I had to grab one from another dealer to cover the need.   The stock seemed like it was going to be days.   Yes you have it...

Stock order came in today...right after I got the other one and paid more for it.   O..well..It is what it is.

What???? The Weekend is almost done?

Go get my rain barrow water and a lime.....say it is not so.

I saw an electric motorcycle last night....

It was kind of cool.    Had lights in it.    Was really clipping down the street.    Very ultra modern.    Looked like a Tron kind of day....

a blue and black engine: 003-electric-car-performance.jpg

Many street- and drag-race electric applications use an automatic transmission like a TH400 or Powerglide for gear multiplication to offer even more launch torque. According to McCue, when his high school class first built their car, the electric car people all told them they could just run the car with direct drive into the transmission without the converter. But in the high school “Shock & Awe” car, they discovered the car actually improved both its 60-foot times and overall e.t. by employing a torque converter.

Now the hotrod world is looking at the electric hotrods.    Hey if they go fast...They are cool.
