The black Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat was taken in September 2018 from the Dallas area, with Rawlings asking social media to help find the car. This particular Hellcat was used by his then wife, and had sentimental items left inside the glovebox when stolen.
Incredibly, despite the 707 horsepower Challenger Hellcat worth a substantial amount in parts alone, the car was found and recovered in one piece.

They took  his junk out of the car and left behind an engine worth thousands.....Da!

I just don't llike the old trucks lowered.

Might as well buy an old hotrod.    Trucks are built to take down the back roads....

Like the old Jess Duck truck.    He never would have beat the hills with a lowered truck.

I am amazed at this new wrapping of cars and trucks.

No custom paint.     Just heat and decals.    Very fast way to make any used mess look brand new.    Paint sometimes is not the expense.    Smoothing a body....Get out the cash!

As dangerous as it is..... I can't not let my dog ride free....

Been many problems with air rides as of late.

The OEM is just not as heavy duty as aftermarket added systems.   So air ride bags fail,  leak ,  and cause some real hair pulling.    Most of the time it will make the air compressor run to much.    Causing fuses to go,   pumps to burn out,   and the lean to the side thing.    I think it is something in the future that needs addressing.    Lighter parts just don't fill the bill.

That is mighty cool.

I have an older Jeep and sometimes need more room for the weird.



Looks like what the doctor ordered.   I just need a hitch ...cheap...and I am ready for the days I need to go mow my kids grass.

This SLK, which Nick said “appeared to be put on a frame... and [had] solid axles,” was likely running at least 30-inch wheels. Just look at how they dwarf the tires on the trailer.

I guess the new guy we got for the garage is already gone.

My understanding is he came to work and three hours later was done for some reason.    Well I know why.   Can't get into it.   It is getting harder and harder to keep and find people in this line of work.    Not sure why it is.   But it is.

Came back to work today.

Found a bit of OMG as always when I am out.    Not bad though.   So far anyway have not found where there was a fire or anything.   Given time....we will see.

The tricked-out Bison will be on display beginning tomorrow until May 19 at the Overland Expo West in AZ. Going to set up a tent sometime this week.

No not outside.    In the showroom.    Jeep makes a tent (I have one) that hooks to just about all the sport type ....well you get it.

As a kid I had a track.    Firebird stunt track.   Two cars,   ramps,   and more.    Very fun.    We as adults need to help the kids of today find this fun.

I had to shop several stores ...found it.

I wanted a carry case for my Grandson's cars.   I saw them online.    I thought about it.   But decided the brick store needed a sale too.   Wally World had one for under $20.00.



Holds 110 Hot-wheels…..Or any small car.    I put the collection we have so far in it.   Can't wait to see his eyes when I show it to him.

I thought about a perfomance cam for our parts van.

Our 3.6 is ticking and it needs work.   I have seen some as of late needing the intake cam and rockers.    I really want something a bit harder to install.   But it looks like not many choices out there.   Must be no one is parking in a shopping lot and flipping the hood on a mini van.

Clean them.

If your blades are in fair shape and just don't clean well...clean them.     Just  had a lady wanting new ones.    I looked them over.   Saw nothing wrong.   Took a glass cleaner pad to them.   Done.   Worked like new.

We have a dude who may have been stupid to come back here.

When he was a young man he took a car (vette) for a joy ride,   left it in another (he can't remember state) ,   and never got caught.   He came back here a week ago and the owner remembered him as being wanted for taking her car.   She called the cops.   he is in jail,   can't help them on a car he took more than 40 years ago,   and may still go away for being a dumb kid.     Well maybe a dumb old man too?

By the way...there is no quick fix.

This looks good.   It is not expensive.   But it is a band-aid.   Sure it will swell up a seal,   it will stop leaking that day,   and when it comes back....look out!     It will really leak!    Get it fixed with new seals.

Hey an oil leak is a bad thing folks!

Our  new 0w20 tank just up and started leaking at the pump.   Luck had it I saw it before we lost gallons.   Very little was lost.   I ad the company that installed the new tanks come.   The pump cracked.   So now with some repair we are back.    What made me laugh was when I talked to a phone operator.   She said she would see when someone could come.   I said...Sorry but it is oil!   It needs to be soon.

This is a kit Ram offers to fix the darkness when  you add a cover to  the bed.     82214870ab.    I think around $250.00 plus tax and labor.   Not to  bad.

Easy way to figure out the fuses when you are looking them up.

Okay there is no easy way.   But maybe this helps?

Now realize this will not always cover the size or shape of the fuses you have when the person brings in their fine unit from the car or truck.  You have to match them.  

We have almost enough Mini Coopers to confuse someone.

We  just got the red convertible.    Very cool car.    This one is in good shape.   Ready to make someone's Summer great!



The blue one....It is a problem child.   It most like is on the way to the block to be sold.    If we can get it to run long enough.    Rules are....It has to drive across the line on it's own power to be sold.   I think we should be able to get that.  

The shop drain has the Devil in it!

You ever smelled an old decaying swamp?   I have a shop drain just on the other side of the window.   It gets dirty and than it smells bad!    Only fix is running gallons of water into it.   Which I hate to do.

Start of the month is again a struggle.

I came in and ran the numbers and found that Saturday might as well not even had happened.    Today went really well as far as the numbers.    I want this to be a super week.   But it is going to be a battle.

Weighing it all out.

We had a V.W. in the garage that needed at least tops and springs on the front.    Yes you sure could get just that.   At around $255.00 a side.     Or you could replace both as a complete unit.    For around $295 each.    It was easy and fast to  just get them complete and move on.

Unless I turned into the guy above (not likely) I am not going to be into Monday.   It's my birthday Saturday.   It's some Mexican fun day on Sunday.     So see you next week.
